Riley.

we have a new dog! we drove to mora yesterday to their animal shelter and found Riley. she is super sweet and really mellow. she is 18 months old...so right there with poppies. we all have fallen in love with her over the past almost 24 hours. eagan loves to have her right by him while he plays and enjoys driving cars on her and in the last picture there he read her a book until she fell asleep then propped it up for when she woke up. he also put her cow on her. :) and preston...well...were not sure if he likes her more or her crate. as you can see he brought toys in there to play with. :) and we are still waiting to see what she sounds like. we heard her whimper in her dreams last night and when she wanted to go out but that's it. so we are curious to hear her beagle bark!

nitro!

we went to uncle darin's on monday night to play with nitro. we had a blast. the boys had so much fun feeding nitro treats. i think nitro liked it too. :) preston said "kitty" for the first time there too. and last night preston said "bye" to grandpa on the phone then ran around for a few minutes saying bye non stop. it was really cute. so he's starting to talk! yey! eagan gets so excited. he is trying really hard to teach preston to talk. he's such a good big brother.

books.

the boys were playing a little too quietly so i went in to eagan's room to check on them and they were reading together. so cute. eagan loves reading to pop and trying to teach him to talk. :)

so i got some really cute pictures of preston in the tub. he was having a blast and being so silly.

open gym!

on monday ryan and i took the boys to open gym. the no longer have it at the boys school but at franklyn art center in brainerd (which was ryan's old jr. high school) so the boys had a lot of fun running around and playing and ryan enjoyed walking the halls. eagan also helped me make supper. i think nana should have joined us...did you see all that cheese?! it was so good!
