fun with uncle chaddie and auntie darcie!

we had such a great christmas. on christmas eve we went to ryan's grandma's and had the niesen family christmas; then on christmas morning we had our little family christmas. it was funny to think back to last year when preston was only three months old and slept through most of the festivities. he really got into it this year. he was all practiced up with the gift opening from his birthday and was ready to dive right in. then christmas afternoon everyone from the white side came over to our house. it was wonderful. darin had to work but it was slow enough that he was able to join us for a good chunk of time. :) then auntie darcie and uncle chaddie spent the night. the boys loved having that extra quality time with them. i know i'll be hearing alot about them for a long time now! tonight ryan and eagan built a snowman before ryan had to go to work. it was awesome getting outside for a little while. now the boys are putting stickers that nana gave them all over my door...but hey! i get a little quiet time! lol. anyway...tomorrow we head out to lonsdale for the malecha family christmas and i can not wait!!!! so we'll be gone for the weekend hopefully to return with some more pictures for you! :)

check up.

today preston had his 15 month check up. he had to get two shots...which he was very brave for. he is 33 inches (90th percentile) and 24 pounds 6 oz (50th percentile) tall and skiny just like his big brother. it seems like everytime the boys want a glass of warm milk or hot chocolate those cats just come a runnin'! the boys think it's great. :) well i hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

jamjams!

since my boys seem to be growing like weeds i needed to go out and get some new jammies for eagan. he picked out these super cool "police jamjams." he was so proud he had to show them off to the camera :) so preston got some "new" jammies too...and his are a bit to big (honestly eagan wore them to bed just the other night) but he was also really excited. don't you just love how preston has his feet crossed?! and he's just a playing away on that piano. i think next fall i will be signing both the boys up for music class. i know they will totally love it. okay! have a good night!

no brother kisses!

sorry that it has been a while since i last posted...we had the flu here and as you can guess i didn't really feel like taking any pictures! but we are all feeling better now! i'm getting really excited for all the christmas baking i'll be starting this weekend, and we are all getting excited to get the whole family together for christmas and then for going to gram's christmas in lonsdale! i just can not wait!! well i'm sure with the busy week coming up you'll get lots of pictures to look at! so check back soon. thanks and have a very merry christmas.

zebra.

we were getting kind of bored being in the house all the time so i dug out the zebra tent and brought in the big wheel and the boys had a blast! eagan thought it was great that he could bike in the house. :)

christmas time.

saturday we got our tree up and the boys love it! as the days have gone by the decorations had started to disappear and this morning i found a stock pile of them in the couch. oddly enough all the ones that are just out of eagan's reach are all still on the tree. lol. the bottom picture is of the boys enjoying some hot chocolate and butters trying to get some too. :)

we had a blast last night decorating cookies! and butters wanted to join us in our teeth brushing!

new hair cuts!

the boys got their hair cut! ryan cut eagan's but we took preston to get it done. it was really hard to say good bye to the baby hair...but he looks so cute now i hardly miss it! :) the most exciting thing that happened this week? nana and grandpa are back from florida!!!!!! the boys were thrilled! in the last pic they are waring there super cute mickey mouse shirts that nana and grandpa brought back for them. we had to pry it off to get eagan into jammies. lol.

after meeting super why! the boys now love to play "super baby!" isn't it soooo cute?!

yesterday we went to the mall and met super why! super why is eagan's favorite show that is on pbs every morning. both the boys did great...even though there was a twenty minute wait and then a very big super why. eagan even gave him a high five! (totally unlike eagan, you all know his shyness!)

uncle darin came over to show the boys his new ambulance. they loved it! eagan even got to "drive!"

halloween.

eagan was a little fireman for halloween and preston a cow. :) they had a really good time. we went trick or treating at cub on thursday and then on friday we went to the mall , our neighbors and to ryan's grandma's. then saturday we went to terre's and nana and grandpa's. the boys had sooo much fun, and i'm just glad we got some good use out of the costumes!

eagan was such a great helper. he helped daddy "mow" up some leaves and then he helped me decorate some cookies. now we are all ready for halloween! :)
