eagan writing!

eagan practicing writing his name! he is so proud.

eagan just loves writing. his school has a letter of the week and he is getting pretty good! he got a gold star last friday for writing his name so well. he is also getting good at patterns and rhyming. he knows his alphabet and is counting almost to twenty. i'm so glad he is in preschool...it has really helped me know exactly what i should be helping him learn. plus pop is getting a great head start! :)

piper

on tuesday we added another pet to our family. piper is a 3 1/2 year old terrier-dachshund mix. preston and i found her at the humane society in brainerd. she is such a cutie and for the most part really good. riley and her have such fun running and wrestling. i have been told that she will be the last furry member that i can add to our family and that our "fish bowl" is full. (ya know...every fish needs so many gallons of water in the tank) so no more trips to h.e.a.r.t. or online pet adoption sites. i'm such a sucker for a cute face!! lol. anyway, say hello to piper!

fantastic fall

on saturday we took the boys to little falls zoo boo. they had a blast! they got to see a bunch of animals and do lots of trick or treating. it was a great way to get another use out of their costumes. on thursday grandpa will be going with us to cub foods for a halloween carnival and then on saturday we will be going trick or treating of course. the last two pictures are of a little gourd friend we made with auntie pammy and uncle ron's gourds. thanks guys!!! the boys had a blast making him! :)

first day of preschool!

eagan had his first day of preschool today! i was so nervous about the drop off and how he would handle the entire thing but he did great. pop was really excited when we picked eagan up. he missed him. but i had fun spending a little bit of one on one time with pop. we don't get that very often! so now eagan will be going monday, wednesday and friday. from 8:15-10:45. after class today eagan asked if he can go back tomorrow and i said no, not till monday and he was bummed. the school is less than five minutes away and if we send eagan to public school then that will be where he goes. on wednesday he has pictures and will be in the baxter elementary school year book. he's growing up way to fast! :)

today uncle shaun and grandpa came over and cut down a tree. the boys were a huge help! :)
