we all kept very busy this week. on thursday terre (grandma) and i took the boys to the circus. it was a very little and from a grownups point of view very disappointing circus but the boys loved it. eagan loved the girl who climbed very high on the ribbons and did acrobats and preston loved the dogs and horses, and he even got to ride a pony...which he rode like a cowboy. leaning slightly back and very serious. :) saturday we attempted two easter egg hunts in which neither went well and i swore them off forever. then today we went to ryan's grandma's for lunch and then to mom and dads for supper. the boys got to do two hunts one at each "grandmas" in which they actually got eggs! they had a blast. i hope everyone elses easters were as much fun as ours was.

Ryan found this "little" guy when he got home from work last week. We couldn't believe how big he was. (Eagan's boot proves it!) Now hopefully he found someplace safe before the snow came.

I took the boys to church again on Wednesday and I am proud to say that my boys were NOT the worst behaved!!! Eagan is getting better every week. I think just maybe he'll be able to sit still for the whole mass by the time he is in kindergarten! lol. We missed school on Thursday due to the icy roads but went to open gym today so they could play with friends.

blast from the past.

last night ryan and i were talking about how eagan seemed so much older when he was 18 months than preston does. (that's how old he was when pop was born) so of course i had to pull out a picture and show you guys. today pop went to the doctor for his 18 month check up and he is 33 1/4 inches (75%) and 25 pounds 9 oz (50%) he also had two shots. so none at his next appointment when he turns two! :) yey!

spring?!

is it finally spring? we sure enjoyed the weather today!

we had a great couple of days! eagan had is third birthday party on sunday. it was alot of fun. then today we went to the water park! it took preston almost an hour to warm up and not need to be held but eagan jumped right in. out of the three water parks in baxter this would defiantly be our favorite. all of us can't wait to go back! preston was so funny kicking and karate chopping the water yelling "high ya!" looks like we will be enrolling him in karate! and eagan loved the water slides. :)

we have been having a really good time lately! both the boys were healthy enough this week to go to school and that went SO good! when preston got there he was running around like crazy squealing he was so happy. everyone thought it was hilarious. i know that he enjoys it but it is great that he is old enough to show it now. it makes it so much more worth while. eagan did great too. he was able to do fifteen minutes of the parent separation time...so up five minutes since last time! maybe by the end of the semester he'll be able to do the entire 30 minutes! today we went to open gym and played with lots of friends and then tonight nana and grandpa came and we all went to the fish fry at st. francis. they had a wonderful turn out and i can see why! the food was so good! we are already talking about going back next week. i think ryan has off next friday so that would be awesome if he could join us. :) well eagan turns three on monday. i just can NOT believe it. so i'll have some pictures to post next week of his party and what not. till then have a wonderful weekend!
