We have been having a lot of fun around our house lately!! Last week we witnessed the yearly snapping turtle parade. Across the street from us is Whipple Lake and out our back door is Moberg Lake. So every spring the turtles make their way from Whipple to Moberg. This year we saw three big turtles come through our yard on the same day. We threw lettuce (which they didn't care about) and talked about how next year we should throw minnows. (not that we will keep them on hand for weeks or anything.) Eagan just happened to be home sick from school that day so it was really special that he was included in it. Now if only Ryan wasn't at work...
Friday Eagan's school had their yearly carnival and Eagan was sooo excited to go. We went two years ago and he had a blast but last year he was in the hospital. (can you believe that one year ago almost to the day we were praying to God to please let our little boy not have Cancer?! In just a few day's it will be one year from his surgery! and boy has he grown!) Believe it or not he remembers having to miss it because he was in the hospital so we made a big deal out of him being healthy and able to go. Well we spent some money on raffle tickets and Little Miss Gwendolyn Elizabeth won! Eagan said "so Ginny gets to be the lucky ducky this time huh?" We are truly blessed that one of the kids almost always wins. They are SO lucky! She won this cooler full of sand toys and bubbles, books and a jump rope and even some sunscreen! (They must know just how much we LOVE the beach!!)
Isn't my crab apple tree beautiful?! Oh and it smells heavenly!
I told Ginny to get ready we were going to go to the park and then i told the dogs "home" they ran right in and Ginny crawled in after them saying "home! home!" then she gave them each a hug. What lucky puppies!
Tiny little Gwendolyn foot prints at the beach. :)
My punk rock princess. Couldn't she be a model?!!!
And I thought this was a really funny picture of Cloe Pumpkin. She was laying in the bird food waiting for some moronic bird to come eat but had to be a camera ham when she saw me.
Well have a great week!!! :)
